Asphalt Remove & Replace (R&R)
Some damage is past the point of sealing or patching. Deep alligatoring, base failure, and severe rutting call for remove and replace: saw-cut the damaged area, remove the old asphalt, apply new hot-mix, then level and compact it for a repair that performs like new pavement.
R&R is the right call when the problem goes deeper than the surface — when the asphalt has fully failed or the base beneath it has shifted or washed out. Rather than repeatedly patching a failing area, we rebuild it.
We saw-cut clean, straight edges around the failed section, remove the old material, correct the base as needed, and install new hot-mix asphalt compacted in lifts to proper density. The result is a structurally sound section with clean lines that ties into the surrounding pavement.
Combined with crack filling and sealcoating on the rest of the surface, targeted R&R lets you restore the worst areas of a lot without the cost of full repaving.
